Empyrion Reforged Eden 2 - Server Wipe

Server Wipe Countdown

Wipe Date: Jan 1, 2026 @ 00:00 UTC

Time Remaining: -

Event: Server Wipe Target: Jan 1, 2026 Prep Month Active: Dec 1 → Jan 1

đź“… Wipe Date

The server will be wiped on January 1st, 2026. This wipe is necessary to apply all the latest Reforged Eden 2 updates and ensure everyone gets the full experience. We do run the latest version but some changes will not apply until a new save is made as seen below in the patch notes listing the missing changes.

🎒 Backpacks & Armour

  • Players will have access to 20 backpack pages to store anything they want to keep.
  • Federation Spacesuit will be modified during the countdown month, giving massive carry weight to help you move items around. This will be available for 1 credit. If you need one but cannot access a trader to purchase it, leave me a massage in chat or Discord and I will put one in your virtual backpack.
  • Use these tools to prepare and safeguard your items before the wipe.

📦 Special Storage: Save Your Items

  • Just use /vb or /vb <number> — backpacks are created instantly when needed!
  • Store gear from inventory, hotbar, and equipped slots — they won’t be saved automatically!
  • Dismantle bases and ships if needed and put the resources away.
  • Convert in-game credits into physical currency at an ATM and store those items in backpacks — money stored on your character will be lost!
  • Volume limits on all storages including player inventory have also been temporarily removed — base containers, ships, backpacks — everything is wide open to help with clean transfers!

🛠️ Blueprint Reminder

  • Save any ships, bases, and stations you want to reuse after the wipe.
  • To do this:
    • Stand near or inside the structure
    • Press P to open the Control Panel
    • Click Blueprint tab, then choose Save as Template
    • Or press F2 to open your blueprint library directly
  • If you don’t save it — it’s gone forever after the wipe!

đź’¬ Backpack Commands

  • /vb help — List all backpack commands
  • /vb — Open your current backpack
  • /vb <number> — Instantly creates and opens a backpack at that index (e.g. /vb 8)

No setup or purchase needed — just use the commands!

🚀 After the Wipe

  • Your stored backpacks will remain available for 1 week after the wipe.
  • After this grace period, they will be permanently deleted.

🧠 Player Data Reset

  • All player data (levels, inventory, tech tree) will be fully wiped.

⏳ Countdown

Starting December 1st, 2025, the one‑month countdown begins. During this time, backpacks and the special armour will be available so you can get ready for the fresh start but not before.
